Although my path didn’t lead me to study design, I did study art history, which enabled me to view art in a more analytical way and recognize when something is out of place.
My interest in UX began in a not-so-expected place . . .
From a very young age, I have been fascinated by design, shapes, and the way they interact with each other in a harmonious way.
About
Before taking a Game Design course at Machina Game Dev Academy, I'd never thought about UX. After learning basic UX principles and reading Celia Hodent’s book "The Gamer's Brain: How Neuroscience and UX Can Impact Video Game Design", I was quickly mesmerized by the process of designing functional components, and menus and making them responsive to give the player the best possible experience. This lead me to enroll in Algebra's UX Design course where I learned all the necessary skills to begin my UX journey.
In my spare time you can find me drawing, writing, reading, playing video games and going on walks with my dog Frankie :)
